“Paradise Inside” is a series curated during the 2020 covid-19 pandemic.
What started off as an exploration of digital creativity, became a breath of fresh air during lockdown. This then became a a project which enabled us to connect with models/influencers through FaceTime. “Paradise Inside” captures one in their own realm in the comfort of their home with interviews that further encourage a space of conversation of evaluation and hope.

“I’ve learnt that it’s ok not to be busy all of the time, I always wanted to be busy before and felt uneasy when I had days off.”
– Cheyenne Maya-Carty.

What is keeping you motivated during this time?
Keeping a routine… it’s easy to get distracted by social media and TV. Everyday I’m trying to wake up early at the same time and allow an hour to myself to answer emails and finish things I’ve been putting off!

What have you learnt about yourself during this period?
I’ve learnt that it’s ok not to be busy all of the time, I always wanted to be busy before and felt uneasy when I had days off but since being in lockdown it’s given me time to focus on what’s important and appreciate being by myself.

What would you say you’re grateful for right now?
My health most definitely, also the support system I have around me. Having good friends and family is key, I always have someone who I can tell my problems too.

Once quarantine is over, what is the one thing you’d like to do that you feel you wouldn’t have usually done?
When quarantine is over and it’s safe… I definitely want to have my house warming party with all my family and friends. Good vibes and soul food I can’t wait to be surrounded by my loved ones again!
